AVM/DMS/BSD 3 in 1 System

The AVM (Panoramic Monitoring System) /DMS (Driver Monitoring System) /BSD (Blind Spot Monitoring System) three-in-one system is a highly integrated intelligent driving assistance solution. Through multi-sensor fusion and AI algorithms, it realizes all-round environmental perception and driver status monitoring.

● When parking at low speed, AVM is automatically activated and combined with the BSD radar to detect moving targets in blind spots (such as suddenly passing electric bikes), a red box is marked on the central control screen and a buzzer is used as a warning. When driving at high speed, the BSD monitors overtaking vehicles on the side and rear.
● DMS detects the driver's status, BSD determines the risk level, and the system gives the corresponding response.
● When the BSD radar gives false alarms, AVM side-view camera can filter out false targets through image recognition.
● In urban congested sections, AVM monitors electric bikes/pedestrians crossing from blind spots in front of the vehicle, BSD prevents vehicles cutting in from scraping, and DMS prevents drivers from being distracted due to prolonged congestion
● Compared with traditional discrete systems, the three-in-one system saves 30% of hardware costs (sharing AI chips/wiring harnesses), has a response speed of less than 100ms (internal data bus transmission), and supports OTA synchronous upgrades in terms of functional expansion.

The Driver Monitoring System (DMS) is an advanced automotive safety technology designed to continuously observe the driver’s state and behavior, ensuring safer driving conditions. By using cameras, infrared sensors, and artificial intelligence algorithms, DMS monitors key indicators such as eye movement, head position, facial expressions, blink rate, and gaze direction. These inputs allow the system to detect signs of fatigue, distraction, or drowsiness in real time.

When the system identifies unsafe conditions, it can alert the driver through audible warnings, dashboard indicators, or haptic feedback, prompting corrective action before accidents occur. Some advanced DMS solutions can also interact with adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, and other driver-assist technologies to partially intervene or enhance vehicle control when necessary.

DMS plays a crucial role in reducing accidents caused by driver fatigue or inattention, which are major contributors to road incidents worldwide. The technology is particularly valuable for long-distance driving, commercial fleets, and high-speed highway travel, where prolonged attention and rapid response are essential.

Moreover, modern DMS integrates seamlessly with connected vehicle systems, enabling fleet managers to monitor driver performance remotely, log driving behavior, and enhance operational safety. The combination of real-time monitoring, AI-driven analysis, and integration with other vehicle safety features positions DMS as a cornerstone of intelligent automotive safety solutions.

By providing continuous feedback, proactive alerts, and the potential for automated interventions, the Driver Monitoring System not only safeguards the driver but also protects passengers, pedestrians, and other road users. As automotive safety standards evolve and semi-autonomous vehicles become more prevalent, DMS is increasingly recognized as an essential technology for the next generation of intelligent vehicles.
