AEBS
In automotive driving, AEBS (Autonomous Emergency Braking System) is an active safety technology that uses sensors to continuously monitor the potential collision risks ahead and automatically triggers braking.
● If the driver fails to respond to the collision warning in time, the system will automatically apply partial or full braking to avoid the collision or reduce the impact force.
● It detects pedestrians, cyclists, or motorcyclists through image recognition and AI algorithms, and prioritizes braking for vulnerable road users.
● It simultaneously tracks multiple moving targets (such as the vehicle in front and a neighboring vehicle that suddenly changes lanes), and calculates the optimal braking strategy.
● The working status of AEBS is displayed on the dashboard or HUD (such as "Braking Ready" or "System Triggered").
